Temporary Bus Service Changes in West Dapto
From Tuesday 29 July 2025
Due to the closure of West Dapto Road for upgrade works, temporary route and timetable changes are in place for bus services operating throughout West Dapto.
These arrangements will remain in place until further notice.
Regular bus services
- Route 30 – Wongawilli to Dapto via Horsley: Operating on an altered route and timetable.
- Route 31 – Wollongong to Dapto: Shortened to operate between Wollongong Entertainment Centre and Dapto only. It no longer operates through Horsley.
- Route 32 – Brooks Reach to Dapto via Horsley: Operating on an altered route and timetable, with some changes to service frequency.
- Route 38 – Stream Hill to Dapto: A temporary route providing service between Stream Hill Estate and Dapto via Darkes Road.
Passengers travelling between Horsley and destinations beyond Dapto may need to change to another bus or train at Dapto.
Temporary bus stop changes
The following stops on Bong Bong Road are temporarily unavailable:
- Bong Bong Road at Robins Creek Drive
- Bong Bong Road opposite Robins Creek Drive
The school bus stop on Rainbird Drive in Stream Hill is also temporarily unavailable. Students should instead use the stops on Darkes Road near Summit Street, approximately one kilometre from the former stop.

The following school services are operating with diversions and changed timetables:
- S195
- S228
- S078
- S264
- S083
Students may experience different boarding or arrival times and longer journey times.
Passengers should check the Transport for NSW Trip Planner before travelling and allow additional travel time.
